Supply Chain Trainee

Your Role

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in production, engineering, operations and finance. The position will involve various tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Purchasing and ordering of products, technical equipment and materials 
  • Following up with suppliers, orders and quotations
  • Planning purchases based on production needs and lead times
  • Overseeing and streamlining warehouse operations, costs and procurement processes
  • Logistics and distribution
  • Project work and improvement initiatives

We are looking for someone who is/has

  • Currently studying a relevant field at the bachelor’s or master’s level, such as logistics, supply chain management, shipping, industrial economics or similar
  • Experience with ERP systems (an advantage, but not a requirement)
  • Structured and organized
  • Solution-oriented and curious
  • Motivated, eager to learn and willing to challenge themselves
  • Strong skills in both English and Norwegian, written and spoken
  • An interest in logistics, technology and process optimization
