Prototype Technician
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on role within Alva’s prototyping team, focused on validating new electric motors under development. You will be responsible for assembling motor components and supporting the engineering team with data collection and testing. The role requires an understanding of electro-mechanical systems and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Key Tasks
Mixing and handling epoxies and potting materials
Soldering electrical components and wiring
Assembling components of electric motors
Collecting and documenting test data using Microsoft Word and Excel
Supporting engineers with testing and validation activities
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to follow and write simple procedures and work instructions
Experience with engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) is an advantage
Experience with epoxies or adhesives is an advantage
Soldering experience is an advantage
Fluency in Norwegian or English

Strong collaboration skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
